Healthy Orange Chicken

Ingredients:
1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts (cut into bite-size pieces)
1 cup fresh orange juice
2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
1 tablespoon chili garlic sauce (adjust to taste)
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 teaspoon sesame seeds
1 teaspoon orange zest
½ teaspoon red chili flakes (optional, for some heat)
Salt and black pepper, to taste
1 teaspoon cornstarch
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
1 tablespoon oil (for cooking)
Cooked rice and steamed broccoli (for serving)
Instructions:
Marinate the Chicken:

In a bowl, combine the chicken pieces with orange juice, soy sauce, baking soda, salt, pepper, cornstarch, minced garlic, and grated ginger.
Let the chicken marinate for at least 10 minutes (or longer if you have time).
Prepare the Sauce:

In another bowl, mix fresh orange juice, soy sauce, chili garlic sauce, brown sugar, orange zest, and red chili flakes.
Whisk until well combined.
Cook the Chicken:

Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
Add the marinated chicken and cook for about 5 minutes on each side until fully cooked and golden brown.
Add the Sauce:

Pour the prepared sauce over the cooked chicken.
Stir well to coat the chicken evenly.
Let it simmer together for an additional 5 minutes.
Serve: Sprinkle sesame seeds on top of the chicken.
Serve with cooked rice and steamed broccoli.
